Summer Studio!! At The Wonder Studio!!!
Come to the Studio
in your bathing suit and prepared for some fun in the sun.

**Special Class: Thursdays with Amy (18mos- 4 years)**
Our class with
Teacher Amy is for the young Wonder’ers. All the same summer fun as Tuesdays
and Wednesdays but the age of the children is limited to 4 years and under.
6 weeks: Summer Special: 2 hour classes!! 9am – 11am
Why 2 hours?
Our goal with
summer classes is to offer flexibility and some freedom. You can come and
wonder for the entire 2 hours or you can come come a ½ hour late or leave ½
hour early. It’s up to you and your child and what works for your family.
Summer Fun and Freedom
I began summer
studio 5 years ago with the idea of offering a time and space for children to
come together, play together, and be creative together, along with the adults
who care for them.
Goal no. 1 was to
offer flexibility in Ages because it was important to me that Siblings have a
time and space TOGETHER. As, I could not find ANY summer programs that allowed
siblings of different ages to be together in the same class.
Next, I wanted to
design a summer program that offered the children a chunk of time where they
could follow their interests and not be expected to “follow directions” from
adults the entire time.
Why? I want my own
children and your children to grow up understanding that they can follow their
own ideas, they can follow a friend’s ideas, and they can entertain themselves
without any Screens. This empowerment WILL carry over when they go home and
hopefully for the rest of their lives.
The children at
Summer Studio are exploring the arts with elements of Paint, Sculpture,
Collage, Printmaking, Music, Storytelling and LOTS more!
Science
explorations include: observing and interacting with various critters
each week, investigating the Water Lab, playing with flubber, Volcanoes, and
much much more!
The last 15 minutes
of classes will be dedicated to a sing along/story time with all the favorite
Wonder Studio songs!
Come to All 6
weeks, come for 2 days a week or one… OR pick a week, pick a day! Lots of
options!
